The Foundation Course is the entry level course offered to educate the student on the basics of ITAM in the workplace. It provides an excellent base for other courses such as as CHAMP and CSAM.
On conclusion is an examination allowing the Student to qualify as a Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP ).
This course will be delivered through a live, interactive webinar.
The IAITAM Foundation course is designed to impart an extensive overview of IT Asset Management (ITAM) best practices and processes. This will include:
- IAITAM Best Practice Library’s 12 Key Process Areas (KPAs),
- The roles and responsibilities that affect an ITAM program,
- Core functional areas,
- KPA indicators,
- Strategic positioning, and
- Ways to embrace multiple organisational frameworks such as ITAM & IT Service Management (ITSM).
On completion there is the Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP) examination.

This foundation course is recommended for anyone who manages or is responsible for an IT Asset Management program.

- IT Operations Management and staff,
- Program and project management resource,and
- Business analysts.
