PRINCE2 Course

PRINCE2 Foundation is the first of a required two-part PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification for project management professionals. It can be studied on its own or combined with additional PRINCE2 Practitioner e-learning.

Description

Candidates need to show they understand the principles and terminology of the methodology. Specifically the examination will require candidates to:

Describe the purpose and major content of all roles, the seven principles, the seven themes and the seven processes.
State which management products are input to, and output from the seven processes.
State the main purpose, and key contents, of the major management products.
State the relationships between processes, deliverables, roles and the management dimensions of a project.

Course Type

This is an interactive e-Learning course for students who wish to become knowledgeable in the basics of Project Management.

As well as in-depth visual learning content, the online course contains audio and video narratives, quizzes and practice exams.

On-line access will be available for up to 6 months. The initial study time is planned at 13 hours plus a mock exam and the final exam. Additional study time should be allowed.

Prerequisites

No previous qualifications or project management experience are required for this course. Before you move onto the second level of certification, (PRINCE2^® Practitioner), you must have studied for and passed the PRINCE2^® Foundation level exam.
